[edit]Re. the size of the Plater College site, the Oxford Mail article referenced in note 11 says this was 267 acres! It certainly was nowhere near as large as that. In fact it was about 3 acres, so I assume the newspaper missed out the decimal point and should have said 2.67 acres. I've amended the article to say this. English classes
[edit]In the Sixties of the 20th century, during the summer holydays, there were English classes at Plater College for Austrian pupils who were rather weak in English. In 1967 I spent there four wonderful weeks, and they were wonderful although we had English lessons for at least four hours a day :-) --89.144.202.226 (talk) 22:13, 24 June 2015 (UTC)
